Our Story

Ben &amp; Tish met on June 30th 2021 at a bar called Mad Oak in Oakland. Ben crossed the Bay Bridge to meet Tish and almost missed the last BART train back to the city. After two years (exactly!) of both local and international adventures, Ben &amp; Tish moved into a cute apartment in Oakland together. On February 7th, 2024, on a backpacking trip in New Zealand, Ben proposed to Tish on the top of a mountain and Tish said yes! We can't wait to have everyone we love at our wedding to share this day with us! Love,Ben &amp; Tish

October 9th, 2021Ben &amp; Tish go on their first backpacking trip in Yosemite! Ben discovers that Tish also likes Type 2 fun!

Winter 2021Ben &amp; Tish go sledding in Switzerland! They also eat lots of chocolate from their favorite store Laderach!

Switzerland Part I

Summer 2022Ben &amp; Tish hike the 14-day Haute Route from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland!

Winter 2022Ben &amp; Tish go to Mexico, visit the pyramids and the beach, and take a cooking class! Ben throws up.

Summer 2023Ben &amp; Tish bike the islands of Croatia and then go visit waterfalls in Iceland. Tish throws up.

Summer 2023Ben &amp; Tish move in together! Ben learns that Tish does not cook. Tish learns that Ben has even more bikes than she thought.

Metro Hotel & Cafe

This hotel is more central in Petaluma, and walkable to some of the activities (depending on how far you want to walk).

Hampton Inn Petaluma

This hotel is by the highway, a few minutes further from some of the activities. This hotel opened in 2021 so rooms/amenities are new.

Airports

SFO and OAK are the nearest large airports. Both are around an hour from the wedding venue in Petaluma. Bonus points for flying into Santa Rosa airport (STS)!
